No frontdesk- poor breakfast (no bacon) warm orange juice- no possible with cash payments- staff sitting outside smoking while customers waiting in the bar! Tiny singlebeds- small bathrooms! Cheap - bur not worth it! Book another hotel if you take a trip to Oslo!

The mattress was really soft and comfortable. The room is small but it’s enough to sleep in. The shower is a bit small and not that practical because there isn’t a full glass to protect the room from water. The breakfast is really good, there are plenty of dishes salty or sweet.

Location was great. Check in was self serve and easy to do. Room looked clean and nice but was ridiculously small. We didn’t really mind but it was stupidly hot and the windows didn’t open. I dread to think what it would be like in summer time. We didn’t get our room cleaned the whole 3 nights we stayed which made the room feel stuffy and dirty by end of it. Was good for what we required and fairly cheap but I don’t think I would stay again due to the heat.

Stayed for 2 nights without any issues, this is a small hotel and check-in is self completed via two pads to the right of the entrance. It was very quick, just enter in some details and it will locate the reservation, confirm. Be AWARE that the room number flashes up on the iPad screen so be sure to take a photo of this or write it down, so you dont forget once the number has been assigned to the key card! Two lifts are right after the entrance, with a small bar/seating area which has partial overview from towards to the self check-in area. I noticed this was staffed. Double room itself was lovely, and had a modern Scandic feel to it. It was plenty big enough for me as a solo traveller, although I can understand couples with larger suitcases may have to settle for less room. It was clean, comfortable with good bedding and excellent shower/bathroom too. Its centrally located being just over 5 mins walk to metro stations and very accessible to attractions in the city centre such as the Viking Planet.

Be aware that this hotel has no receptionist staff, so if you have a request, complaint etc........ If you have a large suitcase, for the very small additional fee, take the larger room choice. Otherwise, the room is, erm...... tight! The rooms have difficult to access (due to the bed location) locked windows which overlook all the other windows in a quadrangle. I had very noisy, partying neighbours (a floor below) and between the locked party window and mine, I could easily hear and see gas inhalation antics (🤷♂️) of the youths. I registered a complaint to the breakfast "attendant" for point of principle and annoyance. They have a hidden ironing room.... with a 1 meter high ironing board, no hooks whatsoever to hang anything up, and no nearby water /sink facility for the steam kettle ......... Breakfast is decent and adequate enough however. Good central location. Nearby serviced, and far more personal hotels are available for a very similar price (i had no input for choosing this hotel personally).
